Emotive Worx was founded by Alf Henery, who was the Dean of the PTC Kwa-Zulu Natal Campus until 2020. He was employed by a major company in a executive Quality Assurance and Project Management capacity for 20 years. He qualified as a certified Quality Engineer and numerous other fields. He then studied in the Social Sciences field and specifically Functional Therapy, he attained his DiplTh, BMin. and Honors in Functional Therapy. He completed his Doctorate with his dissertation being: Preventing Burnout by Applying Biblical Principles. He has been operating in this field for over 25 years. He is also a registered NLP Master Practitioner. He is registered with the Coaching Register International.

Perspective Training College (PTC) unlocks the door to optimal personal functioning.
Our mission is to develop human potential through ongoing research and development of assessment tools and therapeutic programs, as well as the diffusion of this technology and skill, by training others in their effective use and by offering support through quality products and services.
PTC’s field of expertise is human potential development:
- PTC has been doing research and development of assessment scales, therapeutic programs, etc. since 1991.
- These assessment scales and programs are made available to functional therapists, coaches, mentors, etc.
- These helpers are also trained in the effective use of these aids by means of courses and workshops.
- Our emphases is on skills, ability to perform, as well as academic knowledge!
PTC was founded by Annatjie Faul and Bertie Hanekom. Annatjie is currently the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA and Bertie is the Managing Director of PTC.
